Privacy policy.
Privacy is what we sell. This policy explains what little data we collect and how we treat it.
1. Data we don't collect.
Hvisk does not collect, see, or store your wallet balance, the amount of any payment you make through the privacy pool, the recipient identity of a shielded transfer, or your transaction history. These are protected cryptographically and never leave your device unencrypted.
2. Data we do collect.
For users of the SMS gateway, we receive the phone number that sends the message (required by the carrier) and the encrypted payment payload. The phone number is hashed with a per-user salt and dropped after settlement. We retain anonymised aggregate metrics (total volume, settlement times) for service health.
3. Cookies.
The Hvisk web app uses a single first-party cookie to remember your connected wallet across page loads. No third-party analytics, no tracking pixels, no ad cookies.
4. Sharing.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties. We will disclose information only when compelled by a valid legal request and only for the data we actually have, which is very little.
5. Your rights.
You can request access, correction, or deletion of any data associated with your phone-hash by emailing privacy@hvisk.app. On-chain data is, by definition, public; we cannot delete it.
